Services you can book

How Wakazi checks workers

Every worker confirms their email before they can take ordinary work, and needs a current “ID checked by Wakazi” badge before travelling to an in-person job: a Wakazi reviewer compared their government ID with a live selfie (it is not a government-database check). Profiles carry facts you can check at a glance: ratings and written reviews left only by customers who actually completed the work — free for everyone to read; and a reliability score built from real response and completion signals — never self-declared. Where the law requires a licence, a service opens on Wakazi only once Wakazi can check that licence with its issuer. Work photos come from the worker's own portfolio, and no phone number or exact location is ever shown before you connect.

How booking works

  1. Post a Request or browse Offers

Describe what you need — text, voice or a photo — and let the AI helper draft a clear plan you confirm. Or browse real Service Offers from nearby workers.

  2. Choose a worker

Read their offer, skills, typical rate, availability, ratings and work photos. No endless lists — just the people who fit.

  3. Activate the Work Session

A digital Session activation opens chat, calls, live arrival tracking and the arrival PIN. Agree the service price and payment directly between you.

Common questions

Who buys the paint?

Your choice — write it in the post. Many customers buy the paint themselves and pay for labour only; others ask the painter to quote supply-and-labour. Either way it's settled in the chat once you connect, before work begins.

How do I judge quality before hiring?

Look at the portfolio photos on the worker's card — real jobs they uploaded themselves — together with ratings from customers who completed the work and the reliability score. That combination is hard to fake.

What does it cost to hire a painter?

Posting a Request and browsing Service Offers is free. To open chat, calls and live tracking for a job, the customer activates a digital Work Session — a small digital purchase priced by the app store for your country. The service payment itself is between you and the worker; Wakazi never takes a cut of it, and free Core keeps ordinary work access open for everyone.

Do workers see my exact address?

No. Before you connect, both sides only ever see an approximate, grid-rounded area. Your exact location and phone number stay hidden until you and the worker agree to work together — and the same privacy applies to the worker.

How do I know the worker is qualified?

Every worker has confirmed their email, ratings come only from real completed work, and the reliability score reflects actual response and completion history. Workers need a current “ID checked by Wakazi” badge before travelling to an in-person job: a Wakazi reviewer compared their government ID with a live selfie; Wakazi does not check a government database. Where the law requires a licence, the service opens only once Wakazi can check it, and the licence then shows its issuer, scope and the date Wakazi checked it.
