Wakazi — Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026
Operator: Muslim Path Inc.
Contact: support@wakazi.app

1. The service

Wakazi helps customers and independent workers discover each other, communicate and coordinate work. Wakazi is not the employer, staffing agency, contractor, guarantor or payment processor for the service the two people agree to perform. The customer and worker decide the service scope, price and payment method themselves.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Each ordinary mobile account is permanently a Customer or Worker account. Keep your credentials secure and do not impersonate another person. We may restrict accounts for fraud, safety violations, unlawful activity or material breach of these terms. A worker needs a current Wakazi human-approved ID check before public visibility, publishing, new connections or beginning new work, including remote work. While awaiting approval, the worker can sign in to submit or correct evidence, appeal, contact support and delete their account.

3. Requests, offers and Work Sessions

Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Requests, Service Offers, messages, images and agreed service terms. Do not post dangerous, fraudulent, discriminatory or illegal work. Each selected service must meet its current category-specific document rules. Work requiring a police clearance or a licence remains unavailable until Wakazi can verify the required document through its official source and the relevant legal programme is activated. Optional qualifications are not a substitute for a required clearance or licence.

4. Digital purchases and subscriptions

Wakazi may sell digital connection rights, Path credits, memberships and professional tools through Apple or Google. When review fees are enabled, Wakazi may also sell a native in-app purchase for human review of one new worker ID or document case. That purchase covers corrections to the same case, not a later new case. An existing approved check is not charged again. Payment does not guarantee approval, a badge, faster review, rank or an exception to a safety rule. Police clearance and licence review purchases remain unavailable while those programmes are held. Workers pay any official document or licence issuer directly; that issuer fee is separate from Wakazi's review fee. Store pricing and the store's purchase confirmation are authoritative. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in the applicable store account before the end of the current billing period. Restore, cancellation and refund requests follow the store's rules. A Wakazi purchase never pays the worker or guarantees the privately arranged service.

5. Safety, content and communication

Treat other people respectfully and use the report, block and emergency controls when needed. Do not use Wakazi for harassment, scams, exploitation, credential theft or unlawful content. Calls and messages are provided for eligible Work Sessions and may close when the session reaches a terminal state.

6. Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains data collection, sharing, retention and deletion. You may permanently delete your account inside Wakazi under You → Data & privacy, or through the web deletion page. Deleting a Wakazi account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in the store first.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Wakazi reliable, but connectivity, device services and third-party platforms can be unavailable. We may change the service or these terms to protect users, comply with law or improve the product. When a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it through the app or account email.

8. Apple users

For Wakazi obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the applicable store terms control for that purchase or platform requirement.
